Ted Crawford was born and raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, NY. Ted graduated from Bushwick High School and later, the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing and minor in Theatre Acting and Directing. While attending the State University of New York at Oswego Ted became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Ted developed a passion for event planning while serving as the Events Coordinator and Social Director for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. As a result, Ted made a name for himself since his days at the State University of New York at Oswego.
Upon graduation, Ted returned to Brooklyn, NY to further pursue his career goals. After securing gainful employment Ted continued to pursue his passion for hosting quality events and from 1995-1998 he and two partners promoted the finest urban Friday night dance party in New York City at club Downtime with the infamous Kool DJ Red Alert as
resident Dee Jay.
Ted had a new brainchild named Assorted Flavors Entertainment and recruited his loyal, trustworthy, professional friend and colleague named Andrew “Dru” Lyttle to partner with him. In 1999 Ted’s close friend and Fraternity brother Arley C. Pressley returned to New York City from Syracuse, NY where he was promoting events. Joining Assorted Flavors Entertainment was a natural progression.
Currently, Ted is also involved in Mentoring, Congressional Awareness and assisting others with financial planning, real estate and wealth building. Ted’s hobbies are playing Basketball, Running Marathons. Among all things, Ted’s greatest joy is spending quality time with his amazing family.
