Dru as most of his family and close friend’s call him was born in Kingston Jamaica in the WI and raised in the Soundview section of the Bronx. Dru graduated from Alfred E. Smith Vocational High School and later Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus) on an athletic scholarship where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management. While attending Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus) Dru was involved in various organizations such as the Caribbean Club and Student Government.
This is where he was introduced to event planning and promoting events on and off campus. In 2003 Dru received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Dowling College.

In 1993 Dru met Ted who was already established as an event coordinator and promoter in New York City. Dru and Ted collaborated on their first event together in 1994. It was such a success they decided they had the right ingredients for a successful team. Dru’s professional, reserved demeanor paired with Ted’s energy and enthusiasm proved to be a winning combination. After several years of successful events Dru and Ted officially established Assorted Flavors Entertainment, Inc. in 1999.

Coincidently, in 1999 the year Dru and Ted incorporated the name Assorted Flavors Entertainment, Inc. Arley C. Pressley returned to New York City. Ted and Arley had history while attending college in Upstate, NY. Ted introduced Dru and Arley and Arley became a partner in the company.

Dru’s hobbies are kenpo martial arts, running in marathons, real estate, financial planning and wealth building.
